The Kitty Café is designed with felines in mind, with wide open spaces and lots of kitty toys - but that is not to say that humans are left out! Each table has comfortable sofas and armchairs to maximise your experience and relaxation!

The cafe offers a wide selection of freshly made food and cakes as well as the largest range of loose teas in Nottingham! We cater for all here at the Kitty Café, from gluten-free to vegan, with several options available upon request.

All of our food is prepared by our team of trained kitchen staff from the sealed glass kitchen where you can see your food being made, without risk of little paws getting involved. The cafe is kept at the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness, which is proven from our Food Standard rating of 5 - something the kitties are very proud of!

We pride ourselves on being a family friendly venue that is fully wheelchair accessible and has full changing facilities on site. So if you are after family time, ultimate relaxation or just a unique and fun experience then the Kitty Café is the place for you!

Behind the scenes of the bustling cafe and kitty fun, the Kitty Cafe operates as a cat rescue and re-homing facility. The majority of the cats at the cafe have been rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed by the cafe! As you can imagine our rehoming success rate is very high with people falling in love with our feline family every day!

The cattery facilities at the cafe hold up to 30 cats and there are 20 that are available for re-homing at any time. We ask interested families to register an interest in the cats and then we start our adoption process to ensure our cats leave the cafe to happy forever homes!

All of our cats leave us spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and with any health problems addressed.

As interest in re-homing our cats is exceptionally high, we also operate a mailing list of cats on our waiting list and cats in rescues that share a similar ethos to us to help cats in the community find their loving homes too! If you wish to find out which cats are currently available, join our mailing list or have a cat looking for a home please email us at

Help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats from the cafe and in the community by donating to the rescue using the donate button below:
